You can't count Greenwich Mean Time - in those days Greenwich was part of Kent !

Incidently, I frequently buy beer at under £1.50 per pint in London - try Wetherspoons.

Its a fasinating place, I have school trip memories & they are great! And it survived the Blitz, good for them, I say. The diolgue, though, it sucks.

The Tower, the Tower Bridge, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the British Museum, Marks & Sparks, The Serpentine, Big Ben, The Tube, Westminster, Greenwich, Cutty Sark (the boat), Isle of Dogs, Orange Brewery, St. Pauls, 2nd hand book shops, easyEverything, the Natural History Museum, Oxford Street, London Eye, sightseeing boat tour of the Thames, St. Paul's Crypt Cafe, etc., etc., etc.

I agree about the prices though. Here in the NW it varies from £1:30 to £1:80 a pint - always over £2:00 in London!
