Last night John Lennon, Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix and Bob Dylan
jammed together in my dream. This is what they said:



300 years ago
Arabs sold the slaves.
Africa divided
white man reaped da gold.

W is a traitor
a rich man we are told.
Whats he done for people?
They're lied to, killed and sold.

Brother against brother
Is what the Man counts on

All his power's gone

You dreamed all that? Wow! I'm impressed with yer memory. I've often dremed of folks doing songs and in my dream I'm thinking how great the songs are but the next morning only have a vague memory of any of it.

My dreams last night were considerably more mundane. Dreamt that some little kids were packing some live chickens into a box- when they put the rooster in, the kid slammed down the lid and of course the rooster leaped out. I showed them how to cajole the rooster into holding still as I eased down the lid.

I learn so much from my dreams... All I have to do now is find some chickens.

Or- horrors! am I that Machivellian?

"What the hell?" I agree- woke up this morning having dreamt that I was in the process of giving in to pleadings to take home a small nanny goat (she was black and tan and a little overweight, for those who don't remember their dream details). The problem was that I had already taken in three chickens, one of them a rooster (There's those chickens again!), and a rabbit. I had only a fairly big backyard, and had no idea how I would go about accommodating the whole menagerie.

Think I'd rather dream about Lennon.

I had a dream of Lennon last night. He and Yoko were playing together at some concert and later on I spoke with Lennon and said I love him and he said I love you too! Hahaha. I've also had a dream of Billy Shears once and he was at my old high school working on a painting.
