Is there any interest out there for a regular get-together for singers (with a strong traditional bias) on a Tuesday night, somewhere around, Warburton / Lymm-ish (South West of Manchester, UK)?

Sounds like a good idea John, but work commitments mean that I couldn't guarantee any kind of regular attendance. However Lymm is quite easy to reach via the motorway from Wirral, so that if you are able to start anything going I'd love to be able to come along as an occasional visitor.

This sounds like it may well be a goer. I've a couple of pubs that have expressed an interest so I'll check them out further and perhaps arrange for a 'test' evening or two to see how it goes.
