Surfing around, as one does, I came across this site Here

Terry and Tony used to run the Blacksmith's Arms gigs way back when, and their site contains more memorabilia, pictures and articles than you can shake a stick at. A brilliant site for anyone interested in the UK Folk scene back then.

Enjoy!

Alan

Thanks Alan ! I've just spent half an hour looking through it - and have only seen a fraction. What a wonderful collection.
Well worth looking at for anyone from the UK and not just Essex - lots of names and faces on there from then and now.

Excellent !

I can remember some fine evenings and a festival at "The Blacksmiths" in the past. Unfortunately the Pub is now one of those big "Beefeater" type establishments. Linda and I used to do regular gigs just across the road at "The Carpenters Arms" until a year or so ago, but that's changed hands recently and has now been "modernised".
