Minnesota Public Radio is having a lyric contest. They want you to choose from certain Christmas songs and change the lyrics. If you win you get your lyrics played on the radio.
This looks like fun so I thought I would share it with you mudcat lyricists.

Here is the first attempt for my entry(although this was a quick off the top of my head, doubt if this will be my entry try)
To the tune of O'Christmas Tree>br>Oh what a day, that I have had,
please listen to my story
It Started out quite perfectly
and I was in my glory.

Then suddenly it turned to hell
my body did, begin to swell
I thought it was just water weight
but it was really hard to tell.

Well I grew and grew un-proportionately
I thought I'd burst any minute.
My face grew fat, my butt was huge
I grew to be infinite.

I had to see a doctor
to find out what's the matter.
He said to me, "my child I see,that you are with a baby."

But Doctor how can this be?
for sex, I haven't had any.
Well take my word, he said to me
the rabbit died upon my knee.

For what it's worth, I have to say
that this must be a miracle
Just like the one,they call Mary
Apparently my belly's full

It must have been an abduction
they must have planted some semen.
For all I know, I'm going to glow
and so will my baby.
