Hi,
Can anyone tell me who's behind the version of Parchman Farm Blues heard in the Movie "Life" (Eddie Murphy/Martin Lawrence).
The song is credited to Bukka White, however I had never heard this "electrified" version.
The song isn't on the Soundtrack (natch'), and I can't find this version anywhere.
Thanks for any & all help.
Kid

I watched the movie. It's just ol Booker's original recording from 1940 with some more tracks added to it, probably studio musicians. It's pretty simple to do so i bet whoever did the sound for the movie did it.

I think Mr. White probably learned it from Mose Allison. ;-)
