I am searching for the lyrics (and music) for a very old version of "Happy Birthday". I believe it was either an old English (but not as old as Chaucer) or Irish version. It was sung in English, and I seem to recall that it had the words "happy birthday" within it, but is entirely different than the one we all know from American birthday parties. It is melodically quite beautiful, and a darn shame that it's gotten lost. Anyone out there have any idea what this song is?
Thanks!
