Monday morning - Johny Walker standing in for Terry Wogan on BBC Radio 2. "Liz the Squeak, on holiday from the tax office, asks if someone has hung a coat over the web cam..."

Was it OUR Liz??? Now even more nationaly and internationaly famous?

How many other mudcatters have been mentioned on national radio.

I must say a certain short statured one was once called a curmudgeon by Wogan himself but modesty prevents me from mentioning any names...

Cheers

Dave the Gnome

That's nuffin', I am on a Christmas Card produced by Hedingham Fair.
They do ethnic customs on cards for all seasons, and our mob are on *Hoodening* this years Xmas effort.
I am the pretty one in the Carmen Miranda hat, smoking a pipe.

I think the fact Liz got a mention from Sarah Kennedy the other week on Radio 2 must have gone to her head if she is trying for more mentions!! :-))

So you weren't listening yesterday then.... is 2 days in a row a record? There was considerably more than the Merry Christmas message but he neglected to mention this...

Yes, it was me.... And I got the Terry Wogan CD for Christmas to prove it!! Not played it yet..... only a matter of time.

That's Ken Bruce, Johnny Walker (twice), The Togmeister Wogan and Sarah Kennedy (Bratling, all 3 cats and sprouts were also mentioned)programmes down... only Steve Wright to go.

That's the 'Top of the Morning' CD, not the one of Wogan singing, which would be a coaster or bird scarer by now!

The initial remark was; has someone had hung their coat over the webcam, which shows the Radio 2 studio? This was black and blank but I don't think anyone had noticed. It turns out that they are busted, but now appear with a pretty little sign saying they are having a rest and will be back in the new year... I suppose that means their IT support isn't back until then!

Got a mention the following day when I asked for a record and said merry Christmas..

Manitas swears it was I that posted the warning about itinerent morris dancers that was broadcast yesterday (Boxing Day).

I got on Wogan earlier this year when the discussion was on Jamie Oliver's Sainsbugs ad with his Granny (but I didn't get no bloody cd, tog sticker or sweatshirt....)I also got on Sarah Kennedy about 3 years ago when she was talking about awful school uniform, and I mentioned the romper suit my Manchester convent school made us wear for PE.

Wish I had heard Liz's mention(s) the other day. Unfortunately the brain is only firing on 2 cylinders at the moment, and the ears are a bit bunged up due to the Christmas present Ian brought back from China - the cold from hell! At the moment we are taking it in turns to wake each other up coughing.

Heard mention on Sarah Kennedy & Wogan/Walker.

I got on Wogan a while back for his inference about Morris Men, implying that they weren't manly, so I put him to rights.

We have also danced Morris (I jest not) for local 3 Counties radio.

Is a mention three days in a row worthy of some sort of award? If only a new white jacket with optional sleeve ties?

Dead Horse, I've got the Hedingham Fair's 2004 calendar...are you in it, too? (A couple of sweetie Mudcatters sent it to me. We LOVE it!)

LtS, maybe you can add Mudcat Radio to your conquest, soon!
