If so look in the DT under " Next Market day" or as "She Moved Through the Fair". I am rushing out just now but will post the words later if you can't find them in the Dt and if this IS the osng you are after.

I'm sure there was a post on this song not so long ago.

Discussed a great many times here in the past. Simply type she moved through the fair into the "Lyrics & Knowledge Search" box at the top of the main Forum page, and start reading! The text in the DT is taken from a record and has been changed rather from the way Padráic Colum first published it in 1909.

How is it that some threads are preceded by a useful list of related threads but others (eg this one) are not?
