i simply cannot find any of the lyrics to the songs on linda thompson's new album, and wondered could anyone help me out?

Info and some sound clips from Fashionably Late are on the Topic Records site: http://www.topicrecords.co.uk/acatalog/index2.html, but no lyrics.
I don't have the recording myself, but I thought the copy I saw had lyrics included?

Well, I do have the CD, anonymous Guest, and the lyrics are not included. All the songs are written either by Linda herself or in collaboration with her son, Teddy. One is by Lal Waterson, and one is written by Linda and Rufus Wainwright, and one by Teddy Thompson by himself.

However, can't you listen to the songs and figure them out, isobel?

I.ve got the Cd, but no lyrics, I think that 's a bit poor, or is it ?
On 'No Telling' can anyone clarify the the text where she sings what I beleive to be 'Each night at the Old Prime Mouse Steak' 2nd line ,last verse, so if you are Stateside, can you enlighten me please, you are my only hope, but not losing sleep, just curious.Thanks.

No lyrics in my (UK) copy; must be just the US version that has them!
Like you, Breezy, I just can't make out those few words.
I get

Breezy. her beauty refuses to fade made more sense to me, too, though after listening to it several times it still didn't seem to be what I heard. I've written down all the other lyrics, which are clear. It's definitely *not* the old prime house. Come on 'catters; someone put us out of our misery, please!!
