Hello all anyone around to play music in the Atlanta area around the time of the gift show.. I would love to play with people.. If you can get in come visit me at the MART in "the Gardens 15th floor" ..   Wearder yet If you watch telivition at all I am on CBS with Martha Stewart on New Years Eve.. hey Katl .. I know the show is on CBS but I think its different in different parts of the country.. In New York I think its 9;00 am but that might be wrong .. They did call me up to tell me but I dont watch telivition.. I do love vidio though.. Its a shoot on amorilis boulbs.. We had alot of fun... All the best , Guy

Hi Guy. I think maybe Jack the Sailor and I are the closest Mudcatters to Atlanta (we're in Columbus, which is about an hour and a half from Atlanta).

What is the "gift show", and "the MART in "the Gardens""?

We tend to get lost pretty much every time we go to Atlanta, but that hasn't stopped us yet.

(P.S. We were in Atlanta yesterday to pick my son up at the airport. While there, we went to the Lennox Square Mall for the first time. It's the only shopping mall I've ever seen with valet parking. We had a bit of a laugh about that. I think Atlanta must have more stretch limos per capita than maybe any other US city. Also, you can rent a Hummer or a Lambourghini (sp?) there for about $600 a day ;-)

Hello Carol C , The Americana gift mart is the huge muti tower building next tto the peachtree plaza Hotel in the middle of town.. People who have gift storse go to "Gift Shows" and buy stuff to sell.. It is two armys meeting to do transactions.. I will be on the 15th floor in what is called "The Gardens" during that time hanging out and talking to folks.. It is probably the last place you want to go for any fun but Im always hopful.. Just saw Guy on Martha Stewart. Here at the station, his work had a kitchen full of firemen saying "Wow, that's cool" He impressed a tough crowd. Martha was careful to mention him in the following segment as well. Nice work, Guy. Congrats.

Thanks Dave, It is amazing when that many people see you doing something.. My email was an hour just anwering questions and that was 3 hours after the show.. We will see what tomarow brings .. I think I would have a better time at the fire house watching it then at home.. In fact I forgot to watch . Forgot it was on.. We dont watch TV much .. Ah well thanks for the kind words here.... "Lennox Square Mall" -- now **there's** a place name I haven't heard in a while. I lived in Atlanta from '69-'73 (when I was quite young). I've actually gone down the last couple of years for one of the filk music conventions I attend, which is actually that same weekend. (GAFilk for the curious...).
