Three and a half hours to a New Year in Shepherdstown, WV. For me the year has gone exceedingly well, both politically and personally.

We've got five hours still to go in California, but the minute is not the moment; what is important is the turning of the year cycle yet again, and anew.

Here's to all you wonderful guys and gals in Mudcat land -- the singers, players, scholars, thinkers, lovers, healers, dancers, lurkers, trollers, orators, poets and wisenheimers who make this forum such a pleasure to visit.

And most of all here to all of you who helped make the CDs a successful project. What a year we have had, eh??

Like Claymore, I agree that honor is ue to those on guard--against enemies and against our own loss of memory concerning who we are and what we stand for.
