I'm sure my old friend van lingle would thank you if he were still around, #. As I understand it this song was inspired by the memorial gathering for Frankie Kennedy, co-founder and flute player for Altan. A lovely tribute to one who left too soon.

The recent spate of Lyric Adds, etc., is due to so many of the songs now being available online. Most of them weren't just a few years ago, so locating things was much more difficult. It is much easier now.

I am humbled, Reinhard. In many searches for folk music I find myself reading material from Mainly Norfolk in order to learn about song histories/backgrounds. I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how many hours you have put into the site, but it's one heckuva lot, so thank you :-)
