Subject: RE: Good guitar site. From: C-flat Date: 21 Jan 03 - 12:44 PM I think you must have been gigging the same bars as me, Mooman! I always found my old Eko ranger a really useful weapon in a brawl. All that extra bracing....... |
Subject: RE: Good guitar site. From: Cluin Date: 21 Jan 03 - 02:19 PM Got lots of old blood drops inside my machine too. So do most of the acoustic guitar players I know. Seems a pretty common trait amongst gigging musicians. Ripped off a hang-nail or four, masking tape and kleenex on the fingers and away we go again. I never figured it was worth the bother to try and get the blood spatters out of the inside. They've faded to a deep brown now. |
Subject: RE: Good guitar site. From: GUEST,autopilot Date: 22 Jan 03 - 10:18 AM Great site! I've a tip for gigging guitarists from a friend who's a dog groomer. Whenever they nick an ear or trim a little too close and cut the skin there's a glue used which is completely bio-degradable and dries very quickly. It's used on dog nails so it would stand to reason it would work on road dogs, too. I've never had to try it, but thought I'd pass the tip along just the same. |
