Now into the third week. The teething troubles have been ironed out and new people are appearing on the scene. It has the potential of becomming a really good session.

The first session took place last night. Some teething troubles, however nothing major that cannot be resolved, apart from one.... The parking. By ten-thirty the majority of a good turn-out had disappeared to their cars, before the new parking meter infestation caught them out. 60p an hour may not seem much until you realize that it also means £2.40 for four hours, (the maximum permitted in these zones). Weymouth Folk Festival look out. Something about a goose and golden eggs springs to mind.

You could always stay with us Liz. We could even have a side-trip to The Dolphin - it's now owned by The Hop Back Brewery (as in Ben's old local in Salisbury).

The musicians From the New Star, in Fortuneswell Portland, have finally found a new venue. The Landlord of the Ship Inn Weymouth, (on the quay) has agreed to a Session each Wednesday, (same day as before). Anyone wishing to come along will be most welcome.
