I will be coming to the UK, arriving in Manchester on March 20 and staying through until April 15. I will be attending a gathering in Buxton from 21 March-23 March.

Anyone interested in meeting up the night of the 20th? I would also like to get some recommendations of a clean and (fairly inexpensive) B&B in the Manchester or Buxton area.

I might add that I will also be in Scotland the first two weeks in April and I have one gig scheduled in Kelso on April 11. If anyone else has any other leads on floor spots or possible gigs in Northern England and Southern Scotland, that would be great.

Thank you so much in advance,

Debra Cowan

March the 20th is a Thursday - the Open Mic at St Lukes in Salford is on. Have a look here
for more info on Salford. Depending on time of flights and work commitments I may even be able to ferry you around:-) May be able to accomodate you as well but I can't promise because we are moving house soon and I dunno when!

Cheers

Dave

I think Noreen lives somewhere near Manchester, you could send her a message for details of local sessions etc.

Joan's Folkal Point is a Treasure Trove of events in the North West of England, with selected advanced dates.
Visit the website a little closer to the date to see an updated list.

Thanks to Songs, Huw and DTG for the information.

I will also be in Yorkshire and Edinburgh (not at the same time of course).

Now wouldn't that be something!
