Subject: Lyr req: Another french song From: Date: 12 Jul 98 - 01:48 AM Years ago I heard Claudia Schmidt sing a song to a classic french melody, probably something of Edith Piaf's, and the words were simply a catalogue of French words in the English language e.g. "Cigarette, Chevrolet, faux pas," ...and so on. Does anyone have the words? And can you name the tune? Blessings, Barbara |

Subject: RE: Lyr req: Another french song From: Barbara Date: 12 Jul 98 - 11:22 PM Gosh, doesn't anybody know this? I think the tune might be Rue d'Paris, however you spell/say it. And when she did it, I thought at first it was in French, well, it is, but it's just a laundry list of Franco-American words. Blessings, |
