I have met some great folks here in Mudcat, Micca Patterson being one of them. As most of you know, Micca's brother, Jimmy passed away recently. I wanted to send flowers or something, but Micca requested that I make a contribution to a charity in his brother's name. I thought perhaps Mudcat itself would be a suitable place to make a donation. Micca thought this would be a very deserving place, as his brother was a big fan of Irish and unaccompanied singing. If you would like to make a donation to this memorial, please drop a check in the mail to Mudcat with a notation that it is for Jimmy Patterson. Thanks jimmyt

That's a great idea, jimmyt, thanks. I might also add that this has been a lot for Morticia and her mom, too, as he was Mortee's uncle and her mom's brother, too.

Micca, Mortee, you know you and your families are in our hearts and thoughts. So sorry for your loss, especially so sudden.

This is terribly sad; another good friend of mine in England (who I saw during the same trip when I stayed with Micca in January) also lost his brother suddenly just before Christmas. I can't imagine how this tears up the remaining family members...my thoughts are with you.

The Funeral was Yesterday it was very well attended, and the remaining brothers and sister gathered with members of Jimmys Family. There is really nothing else I can say, except to thank all on behalf of Morty, myself and my family, that have posted, emailed or PMed their sympathies I thank you
