can anyone direct me to some good venues for folk sessions in N Cornwall, preferably around Kilkhampton, Bude area. Might be moving down there later in the year and it would be great to have some ideas to meet new friends and socialise. Also if anyone reading this thread knows any one who might be interested in letting any property on a long term let (not just winter)in the N Cornwall or even Bideford(Devon) area, I would be really grateful to hear about it. Hi,
We live on the Devon & Cornwall border there is quite a lot on, but you will have to be able to travel a bit, there are sessions on Monday night in Boscastle, Wednesday and Saturday near Tintagel, There is Bodmin Folk Club on a Friday, Bideford Folk Club on a THursday, Monthly sessions at Launceston, Sunday afternoon sessions at Liskeard and Bideford, If you want to pm me I'll give you my e-mail address and you can let me know when you are coming and I'll let you know what's on! - we can always arrange a session if there is nothing doing!
