Massive congratulations to John Spiers and Jon Boden on winning the Horizon award...brilliant musicians and extremely nice people. Last June we booked them on the strength of hearing two tracks off their album for the June Extravaganza and we've got 'em again on Saturday 22nd. of March. (See Manchester Extravaganza 4 thread for details).

Well done again!!

All the best............Harry.

Yes, they are very good. They went down really well performing the last night at Bromyard festival last year. I went on a one day workshop with them in January in St Albans, ending up with an informal session in local club, and then went to see them later that week performing at Oxford folk club. And bought the CD of course ... still trying to get the hang of the "Rochdale Coconut Dance" on the fiddle. Very inspiring/energetic musicians/tutors.

They are booked to do the Sat evening concert at the St Neots Festival this year.
