Never heard of us in the North?

Mary used to live in the Ryburn Valley in West Yorkshire, where the Ryburn Three Step people hang out (Pete Coe, Johnny Adams, Chris Coe etc. etc.) and I've lived there for a while too - I was even in a band with a bunch of them, and we've done gigs in Yorkshire and Manchester...

Song Links - March 30 - details HERE - thanks for mentioning it.

By the way, what's a CD lunch?

Anahata

March 2003 sees the first year of the Mudcat 2003 Alternative British Folk Awards. Not a prestigious event, but one which celebrates the past year in the world of cyber-assisted folk music. Ralphie - I am gutted that I wasn't nominated for Horizontal award. I will have to accept best club singer award as a consolation prize! I shall challenge Hilary next time I see her ( Thursday - Stortfolk - George 'El Greko' ) to a contest to see who really should have won which award!
Much love

One day Mary, you & I shall drink ourselves stoopid (looking forward to it already) & besides that - I obviously need to throw down the gauntlet with regards to young Piers. Soon Piersy-Baby, soon.......
