Mrs Lemon - it depends on the size of those bums - how big is the tent going to be?

I know Iknow it was a bum joke.

You could spend the whole weekend at Middlewich & still avoid the Boat Band. If you really want to. And pop down the canal for some shanties if that's what floats your boat!

They are looking for a big marquee to seat 1000 bums. Can anyone help?

Get your timing right and you can avoid the Boat Band by going to the Liverpool Shanty Festival for Friday and Sunday nights, and go to Middlewich for Saturday, plus   Sunday lunchtime. Conversely, if you would like to see a lot of the Boat Band, reverse the above timings.

Wrigley Head turn up every year so I expect there's a good chance of them being here this year!

The "blue clicky" doesn't seem to be working. www.middlewichfestival.org is our official site though.

Never mind Alan - there's always 2004!!!

Try www.middlewichfolkandboatfestival.com. Looks a good festival but it clashes with both the Mersey Shanty Festival and Bishop's Castle Folk Festival, so I'm already double booked! Enjoy anyway!
