Hi Mudcatters.
I've looked everywhere for the chords to any of the songs written &/or sung by Oysterband, especially from the C.D.s "Granite Years" or "Rise Above", but I can't seem to find any anywhere. Therefore if anyone could help me by giving me a web address or even better, copy/pasting, I would be most grateful.
Thanx. Luv AAA x

If you posted the names of the songs instead of the names of the CD's it would help.

Good point.
"Milford Haven", "Blackwaterside" & "Bright Morning Star" are the traditional songs that immediatly spring to mind, while songs from their own pen include "Rise Above", "Blood Wedding", "Uncommercial song" & "The Soul's Electric" to name just a few.
I hope Somebody can help.
Thanx again luv AAA x

BTW, what, specifically, is the hill referred to in the the song, "One Green Hill"?

Is it one hill in particular, or another poetic metaphor for Scotland or England or Wales or Ireland itself? Anyone know?

I think it's just a symbol for the place that your were born in: "one green hill, we carry everywhere". Great song: have you guys heard the disco version, available only on green vinyl!

Is that the one remixed by Chumbawumba?

I only have the version on "Trawler". Love it. Gonna learn it. Should be a great pub tune.

Yes, one of the Chumbawumba guys (one who does the fell running): can't check the record as one of my daughters stole it!
