From: Skipjack K8

.............but in the Former Peoples Republic of South Humberside, rebranded North Lincolnshire by a quasi-religious cult known as the Tories. Anyone remember them?

The minutiae. Us Dunns have had a bit of a rough patch, losing me dad an' all, and mother is coming to stay, with me sister (over from Oz) riding shotgun, so I've promised to organise a session for them. I went down to see Jim at the Six Bells, here in Barrow Upon Humber, tonight and he's up for another session. That's the place where Nik Nak and Smallpauper had their birthday bash so exquisitely pictured here (I still have that shot of a constipated Oaklet as screen saver).

So it's the night of Friday 7th March in the Six Bells, Barrow, and might as well double as a survivors' clinic for Portaferry. Surgery starts at 8.30pm.

Mick, both you and any of your lieutenants that you can muster will be most welcome. It's a come-all-ye, songs, tunes and flashes of bassoonist ankle.

Yo, Katherine! It'll be great to see you in Barrow. I'm hoping that a few Westish Yorkshiites are coming, so you should be good for a lift. Eric Trans Viking is coming, but he is probably stopping over. I'll give you a call nearer the time to sort it.

jOhn turn left into Barton down the hill and turn right at the roundabout then follow the road through Barton after a couple of miles you will come to another roundabout turn left there and follow the road to your right. That will get you to Barrow not sure how to get to the pub from there but if you ask someone will direct you (the six bells is in the centre next to the spa shop). Alternatively Skipper will post further directions here if he remembers ..........WAKE UP SKIPJACK K9!

See yews all the morra then

Splendiferous session, thanks Skip dear! Good to meet more family members of yours and hear stories of when you were a little boy... :0)

Landlord was very hospitable, and piped our music throughout the rest of the pub so everyone else could have the benefit too. Despite that, pub remained packed 'til midnight.

And- I partook of Oaklet's hospitatlity on the farm, despite his attempts to wriggle out of it by not turning at the pub before it closed. We made amends by staying up til 3am and putting the world to rights. Next morning I had the full hour's tour of the farm and livestock, and was even introduced to the famed Mrs Drinkall at No. 21!

I am truly honoured.
