UPDATE:
On Paul Jones' blues prog. this week Michael Roach said Deep Blue would be rebroadcast from 6 Feb 2004 onwards.
BUT, looking at Radio Times it is actually on Febriuary 13th, 20th, 27th 2004 at 11 am GMT on BBC Radio 4.
Last segment (no3) never broadcast last year as in thread above.

A more helpful reply from rhe staff on Paul Jones' Thursday blues programme:
Back again - I have made an enquiry or two and apparently Radio 4 hopes to repeat the series in February 2004 at 1100a.m. - but I don't know which days. I have no news about the missing episode from this year though.

I hope this helps a little

This is the unhelpful reply I got from the beeb to my query as to when they'd be broadcasting part 3 (NOT a repeat, it never got aired!):Regrettably, there are no immediate plans at present to broadcast a repeat broadcast of this programme. As scheduling plans are always subject to review may I suggest that you stay abreast of schedule updates by checking TV listings such as 'Radio Times'. If you have access to the internet, the 'Radio Times' and BBC 'What's On' websites carry listings up to seven days in advance. The addresses are:

Third segment not broadcast this Tuesday as the news was extended to an hour. I don't know when it is rescheduled, BBC website is no help that I can see.

Not at all a bad programme. Good old Radio 4 at its best. Anything that starts off with Blind Willie Johnson can't be bad. And some very weird fife and drum stuff from the Mississippi Delta that was totally new to me. Check out the next two.

I notice that tomorrow afternoon (March 4 '03, 1.30pm GMT) BBC Radio 4 are beginning a series of programmes on the history of the blues. Might be good.
