Come-All-Cats!

Singaround / Session at the Bull Pub in Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire, UK (use postcode MK45 4LL for map search) on Monday 10th March, kicking off at 8.30pm.

All acoustic instruments & voices very welcome at this cosy venue and we're always glad to see new faces :-)

It's held fortnightly to run in tandem with the music workshop which is hosted by the University of Luton on alternate Saturday mornings.

Come if you can, but if you can't then perhaps you can come to the next one which will be on Monday 24th March :-)

Cllr: Don't worry if you don't make it, we run it every fortnight. If you are coming, don't forget to bring your songbook (if you have such a beastie) so that I can have a browse through it! Have a safe journey back :-)

Managed to get to Dog Days at lunchtime only to find that they really won't be running it again next year (sob). It seems such a shame, lovely venue & beer & everyone so happy, dreadful news!

Ah well, must get the roast in the oven & settle down to watch the Aussie Grand Prix - maybe a glass of Port would go down well.....

It's just so flattering to have 'my own song'- Even if it is about my earrings really! Will post as soon as I get a minute & remember how to do line breaks. May have a short shelf life as you say, but it's musical history as far as I'm concerned :-)

My piggies stay with me Breezy, they're already of sentimental value - you men have no idea how attached we ladies can become to our earrings!

Not rehearsing tomorrow & can't make it to Maidenhead, so I'll have to do my best at singing with the ladies if they're still up for it on Friday after their hectic debut week :-)

Barton was good fun last night & very well attended. Very glad to have the two Mike's from Bedford join us again, a real treat! Also two more virgins thrown into the lion's den last night - wonder if they'll be back for more??

Must remember next time to get a chair with arms on it, the lack of leverage from my crook back caused me all sorts of problems last night. Someone remind me next time eh??
