Subject: RE: Obit: Horst Bucholz - RIP From: Genie Date: 05 Mar 03 - 03:05 PM I thought Robert Vaughn died a long time ago - perhaps even before Yul Brynner. (Maybe I've got his death confused with someone else's in my foggy memory.) Anyway, The Seven Samurai and The Magnificent Seven are both magnificent. And Horst Bucholtz was, to me, the sexiest of the seven. Genie |

Subject: RE: Obit: Horst Bucholz - RIP From: voyager Date: 05 Mar 03 - 05:28 PM Horst Bucholtz - a household favorite of ours. Magnificent Seven - "I came to be a gunfighter and all you want me to do is clap" 1-2-3 Go - East German refugee being tortured to the tune of "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" Life is Beautiful - cameon as sympatico Nazi officer (oxymoron). voyager |
Subject: RE: Obit: Horst Bucholz - RIP From: robomatic Date: 05 Mar 03 - 07:52 PM no one is manlier than Toshiro Mifune, I sure hope he's still around. |
Subject: RE: Obit: Horst Bucholz - RIP From: Genie Date: 06 Mar 03 - 12:36 AM Nope, robo. Sadly, both Mifune and Kurosawa passed away a few years ago. (I agree, though. Toshiro Mifune was a hunk.) Genie |
