Great Music Of All Kinds! Remember Ocean Drive, South Carolina? (Now known as North Myrtle Beach, the Greatest Beach in the World).   On Saint Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 15th, 2003, we are hosting one of the best Saint Patrick's Day Festivals in the world. Great Music, Fantastic Food, All the Beer (or Soft Drinks) You Can Drink, Thousands of Wonderful Folks, Art & Hand Crafted Treasures For Sale and the Beach...and all this at front door of the Atlantic Ocean.
Also the Myrtle Beach area is world renowned for it's Nightlife and Discount Shopping. So come down and spend a few days or week. If you have never been, you are in for a real treat.

What are the names of some of the bands? Will there be "Beach Music" by bands like the Tams and the Drifters? Is there still a band called "The Embers?

Hey, Sandy Creek!

I'll see you there. I haven't been to Myrtle Beach in 20 years. If
it half as good as it was then then I ca't wait. Do you know if the
Blockade Runner Hotel is still there. How about a night spot called the Bowery (I believe this is where the group Alabama got it's start.)
I haven't danced the Shag (not the horizontal version) since I was there last. I already have two others coming with me. Who knows, we may have a bus load. I really look forward to coming. Maybe we can meet up somewhere and hoist a few colds ones.

Ciao, EJ

EJ: Yes to both and both are still strong.

Beach Bum: Loads of Beach Music as well as Rock and Jazz and Reggae(?) and everything imaginable. Yes, the Embers are still performing on tour, especially in the southern US.
