I understand Les from Hull's computer has died -apparently he was mating it with his laptop and the passion was too much for it. Suffice to say- it falls upon moi to announce that the fragrant Maggie, Les's partner, will be holding a pre-birthday soiree in the Kingston on Saturday and has asked me to tell one and all. Please bring yerselves and instruments as she hopes to get a bit of a sess going!

I too would like to attend to wish the grey bearded one a happy anniversary of his emergence into this world but I am holding the annual fund raiser for the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat here in Huddersfield. Of course if you woud like to join us here we could all celebrate Les's birthday together

Good idea, Osson. We can look in on sunday. However, not a good idea to tell the world that PTH rehearse!!! People will get the wrong idea about us...! The sunday is to meet with our co-turns to discuss sets and obtain PA set up levels. Honest, people.....!!!

Black Boy monthly session (third Sunday of the month) starts around 2pm, and normally finishes about 5pm, though the one near St Pats usually gets extended into the evening. I've asked Phil (who organises the session) if we can meet in the big room, as the room at the front can get a bit crowded if there's more than a dozen people.

Been there, done that, but there weren't any T shirts! Interesting menu though - felafel made with cashew nuts and butter beans (chick peas were out of date) and red leicester and gherkin bread - all very nice too!!!!!!!
