Saw Noreeen proudly wearing hers when she stayed a couple of nights in Scotland with us on the way to Leith with Shellbacks, so I KNOW what's in the parcel. I wore it to work.... I was right.

I was asked to place a sticky note over the offending word. It stayed put for about 15 mins and caused a bigger stir than the wording itself... everyone wanted to know why I had a stickynote on my left tit.

Avery #3279--Dark T-shirt transfers. Is white with peel off backing and tissue paper. Don't forget the tissue paper before you add the iron. I did that to one.....what a bloody mess. Both the iron and the shirt!

What did you use for the transfer - we tried this a few years ago for some t-shirts and the things just were a b*tch - first to get them to transfer - and then about 80% of them diaappeared in the first wash.

I like T-shirts with animals, Amerindians, art, beautiful scenery, and stuff like that on them...not slogans. I'm an Elf at heart, not a "consumer". If you can do a shirt with the album cover of "Bringing It All Back Home" on it, that would be cool.

I think that you'll find that the chocolate bars with the different fillings in each piece were made by Fry not Cadbury. They were the same size and shape as the Fry's Cream and Peppermint Cream bars.

I went back to reread the thread after we PMed back and forth earlier in the week. Yes, the t-shirt can be size medium, but since my highschool age daughter is most likely going to appropriate it, I need to have it say "her" or use LTSs asterisks. Whichever looks better. The kids aren't supposed to wear messages with the originally proposed language at school. And as someone else noted, even if I do get to keep it, there aren't many places down here in the Bible Belt where I could wear it without negative comment.

I've seen purple on the Cadbury wrappers down here in Texas--do we perhaps get our supply from someplace different than the rest of the US?

I was just telling the kids last week (during a discussion of our favorite candy bars) of those Cadbury bars that had six or seven individually filled portions, all together in a common bar. Does anyone else remember those, and do they still make them? There were mostly cream or fruit fillings in the pieces. It was a small bar, individual serving. I'd love it if someone could make a run to the grocery store, just for the novelty to show the kids (of course!). Probably someone in the northern tier of states, or up in Canada. (Of course I'll pay for the bars and the postage.)

GUEST, I guess it would depend on how many of each type are ordered. The more changes, the more expense to get the T-shirts printed, since each change requires that a separate screen be created (I worked for a while in a T-shirt-screening shop).

Count me in! Sorcha, I'll PM you with my size. I, too, would rather not have my shirt say "bitch", if possible, though I certainly understand the sentiment! If the shirt is available only in "bitch", I'll be uncomfortable with it but I'll still take it; I'll have to be careful where I wear it, though (not to work, nor to family gatherings with the fundies!).
