So I check my email this morning and several people are informing me that my picture's on the front of the "Weekender" entertainment section of the local newspaper. So, being a non-subscriber I hustle on down to Bubba's General Store and, sho'nuff, there I is. Click Here and you can see for yourself. That's my friends Steve and Charlie on fiddles and me on the J-45. If I'da known I woulda trimmed my beard.

Great photo(s), and that was a pretty decent article, too. Lots of good quotes, and no bodhran jokes. Well done. You're lucky to have such a great place to play down there.

Manitas got his 15 mins of fame too... the EFDS magazine and the C# Christmas carol concert.. he's one of only two in proper kit, behind him is the betsy and behind betsy, the other in kit is Doug, who always looks like he's in abject agony, every picture I've ever taken (this wasn't one of mine by the way.....) of them dancing, he's got that pained expression!

They got a bloody good write up too....
