Subject: Lyr Req: Memories & Martinis ????
From: GUEST,Red

Does anyone know this song?

More than 20 years ago on country radio stations I heard (repeatedly) a country song that I liked. I don't know the artist (male) or the name of the song.

Below are the lyrics I remember:

"Memories and martinis are mixed up every evening at a honky tonk on
Luthers Avenue..."

"she had long blonde hair and blue eyes, darlin', she was everything but you"

Thanks

According to Classic Country Lyrics, the song is CHAMPAGNE LADIES AND BLUE RIBBON BABIES, written by Dallas Frazier and Arthur Leo Owens, recorded by Ferlin Husky.
