As recorded by Levee Breakers. Not in DT. If you have them already to print, just to save me transcribing them from disc.

Subject: Lyr Add: BABE, I'M LEAVING YOU (Mac McGann)
From: Roger the Skiffler

BABE, I'M LEAVING YOU
(Mac McGann)

Baby, no more crying
Baby, no more sighing,
Tell you -what I'm gonna do
Wanted love- you gave me sorrow
But babe, come tomorrow
Pack my bags- babe, I'm leaving you

Friends told me that you were no good
You done things that no good girl* should
You broken my heart babe
Goodbye, no hesitating
I've had my share of waiting
Baby, I'm leaving you

Times you been forgiven
For your way of living
But it's all the same to you
I've been you easy number
But babe, like rolling thunder
I'm rolling far away from you

Friends told me that you had no heart
You took mine and it broke apart
Right into pieces
Goodbye but don't forget that someday
even yet
Someone will do the same to you

(*boy on the Levee Breaker's record as it was sung by Beverley Martin) transcribed by Mac MacGann through the good offices of Steve Benbow's Protege.
Thanks, guys.

As per usual roger, you are very welcome. Myself, mac mcgann and his wife; Dorris Henderson form the "Ailsa Tavern formation drinking team." (Except I am tee-total.)
Best regards.
   Pete.

Mac with the first double neck instrument I ever saw, and the lovely Beverley, who was not Martin when I first saw them. Mac used to accompany Ralph McTell many moons ago, he had this weird way of crossing his legs, and still managing to tap both feet when he played. I think he's on the early Ralph LPs.

Steve Benbow's Protegee--As you seem to be "au fait" with all these people in whose company I enjoyably mis-spent my youth. Can you tell me what happened to Johnny Joyce??
