Subject: BS: Keith A not called up From: Keith A of Hertford Date: 19 Mar 03 - 04:12 PM In a recent posting, I said that I was anticipating call up. Many from my reservist unit have been taken, but the call up has now stopped. No signals specialists were taken. Another round is likely in June. As I said, I think that the operation is just, and although an evil, the lesser of the possible evils, but I am relieved that I am not needed, and very thoughtful and concerned for my friends who are with the colours. My thanks to those who sent me their good wishes. They were so welcome at the time. Keith. |

Subject: RE: BS: Keith A not called up From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 19 Mar 03 - 05:31 PM That's good Keith. There was this story about a proposal to have British troops trained in tactics by Army Cooks... So since you're still in this part of the world, see you round. (Try Saturday 29th March at The Great Western Railway in Hertford, where a few of us will probably be playing.) |

Subject: RE: BS: Keith A not called up From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 20 Mar 03 - 07:15 PM I probably do. I've got a terrible sense of direction. The one with a picture of a train on the Inn Sign. Perhaps that song might go down in the Saracen's Head down the street? |
