Couldn't get to Bush speaks. Liked the World listend peice. Perhaps my PC is as good as the one your Yankee army uses to kill it's allies.

Who said "The last time people listened to a talking Bush, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years." ???

Al Gore did, but it was in reference to Charleton Heston. He said "the last time Moses listened to a bush his people wandered....."

Rather a funny comment in itself, but directed at Heston, who has Alsehimer's Desease (sp?) It was an inappropriate remark.

Charlton Heston is no friend of mine, but he deserves the courtacy of remaining free from ridicule in his declining years.

I hadn't heard this quote before. When did Gore say it? It may have been before Heston started battling Alzheimer's. And was it really directed at Heston, or at GW Bush?

I agree that if it were directed at Heston while he had Alzheimer's, that that would be in very bad taste.

Gore said that in May, 2000, according to most of the webpages with that citation

Heston made his Alzheimer public by video on August 9, 2002.

Let's leave Heston out of this, and just keep sinking the slipper into GWB.
