Subject: RE: Crediton, UK this weekend - who's going? From: JudeL Date: 01 Apr 03 - 10:46 AM This website address was working earlier. Please note, earlier on the email address on it didn't work but the phone number did. John who's fielding the calls said that they'll try to fix the email link so if the website is down when you try it, they're probably fixing the email link and try it again later. 12th crediton folk festival |

Will definitely join you in the Barn, Alan, if I don't get lost in the meantime - will be grand to meet up with Derek & Mary again - and I'll meet Snuffy!!!! |

Subject: RE: Crediton, UK this weekend - who's going? From: JudeL Date: 03 Apr 03 - 03:01 AM I expect that singing will start as soon as enough people arrive and gather. For more info on what's supposed to happen, when & where , you could try ringing the number on the website. |

Subject: RE: Crediton, UK this weekend - who's going? From: alanww Date: 03 Apr 03 - 03:56 AM Hi Mgas. I will be arriving at around the same time as you and will be parking my little Bambi campervan in the car park of the doctor's surgery on the road round the back of the Ring of Bells - Derek and Mary will be there too. The programme says that the singaround and concerts start at 7.30 pm and I would imaging most people who arrive earlier will be setting up and having something to eat or drink. I might be in the Ring of Bells myself but, if not, by all means call round to see Sandy and me in my campervan. I'll be pleased to offer you a cup of tea or wine or Irish whisky and a sandwich. Hope to see you. "Come ye young men, come along, with your music, dance and song ...!" Alan |

Subject: RE: Crediton, UK this weekend - who's going? From: My guru always said Date: 03 Apr 03 - 04:09 AM Excellent Alan!! will head for the Ring 'O Bells & take it from there - if you hear me singing away in the car park, put the kettle on & pop your head out (Bambi eh) !!! Good to see you & Sandy again, Cheers xx Jude, I've emailed the site - it still said 'yakoo' & didn't work, but I hope they've got my follow-up to yahoo. Have got voicemail a few times & am not good at that so I'll leave it all to fate now - but thanks Honey!!! See you down there xx I tried smoking sage & parsley but it tasted pretty rotten.... |

Subject: RE: Crediton, UK this weekend - who's going? From: GUEST,Mr Red Date: 03 Apr 03 - 06:12 AM guru I would not anticipate any problems if you just turn-up, with the exception of flat caravan space at the footbal ground which has to be booked in advance. The campsite is perfectly OK for caravans (unless you have a 2 axle monster) but be early to bag a good spot. It is a very relaxed affair and very enjoyable. |

Subject: RE: Crediton, UK this weekend - who's going? From: GUEST,Mr Red Date: 03 Apr 03 - 08:31 AM Not looking likely - there is a ceilidh in Stroud with Woodpeckers so I will be jumping with Joy - her time is limited and so is my money. there are usually three sessions in the Ring of Bells, but plenty of singing and concerts. The ceilidh is cramped amd small but a good effort given the conditions. Tell us all that went on and I can enjoy it vicariously. Or tell me about it at Upton - similar laid back affair. |
|
