Are any of you Mudcatters coming to the PFS Spring Thing?
I thought it might be fun to do some Barbershop Quartet singing. I have a few arrangements from my days on the risers and, if you can read, you can take a part. Although the tradition is all male (the women are called the Sweet Adelines, I would prefer coed voicings.
If I find sufficient response, I'll bring the sheet music and I'll even have it duplicated. I'd like to include a song or two in the Harmony workshop that I usually run on Sunday.

Details, please? What is PFS? Where is this to take place? When?

PFS Means Philadelphia Folksong Society. They usually hold their Spring Fling somewhere near Philadelphia, PA. Not sure of the dates.

Right you are, Walking Eagle. The Spring Thing is held over Memorial Day weeekend (Fri-Sun) at Camp Nockamixin which is near Quakertown, PA
It is usually a sold out event so I wont try to advertise it here. It is a great weekend. I may be prejudiced, I was one of the founders some 27 years ago. I still show up every year do do a workshop or two.
