You see, it's rather common knowledge around here that a thread without a dozen posts or so will die pretty quickly. For some reason, people are more likely to open a thread with 10+ posts on them so any posts sre good until you hit the magic number. I assume of course that you DO want to promote this group. So whether a post is about their name or whether they hate their mothers don't matter as long as the thread gets refreshed. You can of course just refresh it without comment but that's pretty boring. So if you want to let people know that this bunch of mother stabbers and father rapers is going to be at Folkmob on the 23rd then keep the thread on the daily list for a few days. Spaw |

He also plays at the Alma Plumstead sessions apparently .. he's played my club here in Worthing and I've got him coming back sometime in the Autumn (I thought it was with his other band "Walking the Witch" .. maybe invite this new band instead then! Great to see em playing live, that Joe is sure an entertainer. I was really impressed with the temple he built out of various bits of wooden kitchenalia, and then invited everyone to take a piece home with them. I feel sorry for the guy who got given a packet of Mallow seeds though his neighbours ain't gonna be happy if he plants them, they're a bugger to get rid of. Pity it wasen't a marsh mallow plant now that would be something worth having. I am now the proud owner of 3 of his tapes (got last night) If you ever see them advertised GO SEE THEM you never know what you'll take home. |
