Can anyone provide words and chords to this song? It was sung at the end of Easter Prairie Home Companion show. I don't know if that is the name of the song, but it is a part of the first verse. It's a catchy little song that would be nice to learn.

I don't know the web address, but there's a PHC website with most of the recent shows available, and they're in sections, so you won't have to listen to the whole show to get what you want.

It's a Mark Knopler tune called The Next TIme I'm in Town - he recorded it with Chet Atkins on "Neck and Neck" (which is a wonderful album, btw) -

THE NEXT TIME I'M IN TOWN

Rating: N/A
(Mark Knopfler)
Now it's been something seeing you again
In this time we've had to spend
You've been so good to be around
I thank you for that special thrill
Keep me going on until
The next time I'm in town
Though I won't be back here for a while
Or hear your laughter, see you smile
And I'll remember what went down
I can't tell you how or when
But I'll be seeing you again
The next time I'm in town
Now the places and the faces range
'Cross the bridge of time and change
Once again I'm homeward bound
There's one thing I promise you
And that's another rendezvous
The next time I'm in town
Now it's been something seeing you again
And in this time we've had to spend
You've been so good to be around
And I thank you for that special thrill
Keep me goin' on until
The next time I'm in town
It's been something seeing you again
And in this time we've had to spend
You've been so good to be around
And I thank you for that special thrill
Keep me goin' on until
The next time I'm in town
It's been something seeing you again
And in this time we've had to spend
You've been so good to be around
I thank you for that special thrill
Keep me goin' on until
The next time I'm in town
'Til the next time I'm in town
'Til the next time I'm in town

Thanks for the help. I'll see if I can find the chords and music somewhere.

I poked around a bit via Google with no luck. Neck & Neck is a bit old, but if you can find a copy, the tune's pretty simple, probably three chords, shouldn't be hard to pick up by ear.
