Shameless promotion here...I'm producing a Bluegrass concert this Saturday, 4/26, 8:00 pm at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich CT.

Tickets at the door are $12 ($10 for seniors and students)

PM me if you need directions!

Hoping to see you there!

We're planning to go!

For those who don't know, Bob Dick is the bass player in Front Range, based in Colorado. Dave Dick was the banjo player in Salamander Crossing, and now also plays with Northern Lights. They are both wonderful musicians, and I'm expecting some great bluegrass. Here's their website:

Vixen, tell us more about Last Fair Deal. I know it includes Phil Zimmerman, who also plays with Phil Rosenthal's Bluegrass Reunion and I think Traver Hollow.

Last Fair Deal was a very popular string band back in the 70's and 80's. They all took time off for families and suchlike, and they've just reunited, with the son of the guitarist playing bass. Phil Zimmerman, Paul Howard, Tom Hagymasi, and Todd Howard are the players. This will be their 3rd gig since reuniting!

Their website is www.lastfairdeal.com

I'm glad you can make it Barbara--I'm looking forward to seeing you again!

Barbara, you are the best! I thanks ye for askin'!

DIRECTIONS to Three Rivers Community College, Mohegan Campus, Mahan Dr., Norwich, CT:

Take I-395 to exit 81East (routes 2 East and 32 South)

Take Route 2 East to where it stops being a divided highway in Norwich at Backus Hospital. Go straight across that intersection onto Route 169/Harland Road. At next light, turn right onto Ox Hill Rd. Take first right of off Ox Hill Rd. onto Mahan Drive. Parking is in the front and to the left of the college entrance. Handicapped parking spaces are on the left side of the building, and there is a ramp to access the lobby there. Use the main entrance—the auditorium is right off the main lobby.
