Had a good weekend down at Fareham and a great sunday night session in Gosport...with a welcome free buffet...however I've not been too well since...neither has the Bearded one...nor our mate Eddy who went with us(I won't go into detail!)we wondered if anyone else was suffering?

Were there, by any chance, a lot of people there from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong or Toronto?

Hi there,
Just cruising around my favourite Folk data base from my home in Scotland, and I spotted the names Fareham and Gosport. Being born and brought up in Soberton just up the road in the Meon Valley, I just had to get my two penneth in!
I am secretary of the Glenfarg Village Folk Club in Perthshire, and we have just had our annual Folk Feast. The sun shone, the music and songs were great, and people from far and wide enjoyed themselves. This years guests included Mike Silver, Fil Cambell and Tom McFarland from NI, Fergus O'Byrne and Jim Payne from Newfoundland, Vin Garbutt and others.
We also meet every Monday night throughout the year, in the Glenfarg Hotel. We welcome guests so why not join us one night?
Or you could our website to get the latest guest list. www.glenfargvillagefolkclub.freeserve.co.uk
From Philip Ponton, a Hampshire lad who moved North many years ago!
