do the logout, login bit - and on the login screen it will give you a chance to change your personal information

Gargoyle, in grade school there was this boy who teased me, hung around me, made up rhymes about me. Wherever I went, he would show up. It was not until years later that I found out he'd had a crush on me. Not that it would have made a difference- by then, I couldn't stand him.

Gargoyle, so far, we're keeping administrative things up here at the top half of the forum menu. We'll take your opinion under consideration.

MMario gave you instructions that are misleading. All you have to do is go to Membership (click), and change the "Mudcat Name" block, and hit the "submit" button. Make sure that you are logged in when you do this, and that the membership form comes up with your current membership data already filled in. Feel free to update anything on your current registration, but do not submit a new registration.

You will find all your old messages have your new name a well. It's not a big deal, but some old discussions may be come to be confusing. If somewhere there's a comment like, "As Harryoldham mentioned..." someone trying to identify the reference will have problems.

I must admit that I'm with garg in thinking that the Tech: threads belong below the line, so to speak. It's not a big issue for me, just mentioning it because it came up. They do need the Tech label, though, not BS.
