Last Sunday, Maine's own Dave Mallett was inducted into the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame. And, about time, too.

Keep Brantford Ontario in mind come October; Dave Mallett is confirmed as one of the performers who will be appearing at the Octoberfolk Festival. Don't know how soon info will be on the website, but it's:

I love his line about "Inch By Inch" (The Garden Song) being voted one of the top ten folk songs of all time. Something to the effect that it was "nice to be right up there with 'Barbra Allan'", said with a wry grin and a twinkle in his eye.
