Subject: RE: 'May Garland' Concert in Maine From: kendall Date: 01 May 03 - 07:52 PM That's the date of the next shanty sing, right? It's also a concert by Dave Mallett in Kennebunk. And it's my 69th birthday. |

Subject: RE: 'May Garland' Concert in Maine From: Bat Goddess Date: 02 May 03 - 11:35 AM You're right, Kendall -- another one of those multi-booked days and my mind has been on Connecticut rather than the singaround. The Portsmouth, NH Shanty Sing is still on, of course -- Bruce MacIntyre will be leading it in our absence. And happy B.D., Kendall! Linn |

Subject: RE: 'May Garland' Concert in Maine From: Naemanson Date: 09 May 03 - 04:48 PM Name? I liked the two you mentioned at dinner the other night, "StringTangle" and "Dreadful Gate" (Grateful Dead anagram). How about "Harps A-Burnin'" or "106 Strings and Only 40 Fingers!" (Or whatever the right number of strings should be.) Other Ideas: All Strung Up and Nowhere to go Strung out In Tune? Wood & Strings Lonely Whistles WYCPICPF (Whatever You Can Play, I Can Play Faster) Tune Builders Harpies and Ogres |
