While sitting in church, I had a terrible thought and the more I consider it the more I believe it's true:

Shame McBride is Chongo's son. He was abandoned at the door of the palatial McBride mansion in Blind River by his father, who left a note readying "Ook! Ook! Ook!" DNA testing is needed, perhaps even DNA tasting (but I draw the line at that). I can think of no reason that this is not only possible but probable. Just to cite a few examples: both are hairy, stink to the highest heaven as if they were the lowest hell, have lice and crabs, drink to excess, are challenged in the area of personal hygiene, bluff and bluster but do nothing, drink anything with alcohol in it, are unintelligent (to put it nicely), and have often been mistaken for each other. Quod erat demonstratum!

Listen to this week's A Prairie Home Companion if you can. Lots of good Unitarian jokes.

I went to church this evening. I try to get there often enough that the roof won't cave in from the shock. I think I saw Shame McBride there, but I was probably wrong. It was probably just a baby with wet, stinky diapers.

Pickin out the highlights of the sceneryyyy, I saw a little cloud, looked a little, like meeee. I'm hip. The water's on fire.

Ya know, I may take up smokin dope again after I retire (less than 2 months!). But, I'll need some good seeds. I suppose I could ask Dale fer some. Dale is a real life Shane. Back woods good ol boy and tough as nails and dumb as a post. My turn of the phrase is, "That boy is so hard, ya could drive him inta solid ground." Well, if he's still alive that is, which is really 50/50 given my knowledge of him. Last time I saw him and Johnny, he was sewed up and in casts from the 4 wheeler accident and Johnnyboy was in a body cast with a broke back and facing insuarance fraud charges from the truck crash. I don't travel up country in that PARticular neck of the woods anymore.

Copperhead Road ain't got nuthin on these good ol boys. They don't SING songs. They LIVE em.

I don't condone what they do. I just kinda admire their pluck, in a way. Lest ye judge, Dale ******* a moose one time and when I said, "Awwww...", he said, "I like to eat. You like to eat?" Ya can't go bad on that. Tasty.

Well, Stilly, do you count dropping stuff I pick up with my right hand? Like a full gallon pitcher of iced tea? It kinda hit the floor on the bottom and the top was left hanging about three feet up. Got a good fountain effect, though.

Well, it warmed up considerable here this PM of 2. It's now a balmy -21WC. -17C tonight so I expect the WC will be over 30. My furnace is cycling like it's on that there tour of yer France. Forecast for Tuesday is 10C and rain. Old Man Winter is a prick and Mother Nature's a bitch.

AMOS!... can I pitch a tent by yer pool if I promise not to pee in it? The pool, I mean.

Ya know, that reminds me. My old man had a tent that had these 50mm dia glass "grommet windows" on the side that could be opened. They were about 250mm high on a 600mm vertical sidewall. In my youth, in the summer when it was hot, I would sleep in that tent in the back yard. Ever try ta pee laying on yer side? Can't do it.

Mom! Stilly's laughing at Amos again! Well, I mean, everyone does. He kinda looks funny and to see him is to laugh or at least giggle a bit. So never mind.

Here, Mom. Have some tomato juice with a couple of raw eggs in it, peeking out at you like two evil yellow eyes in a face of blood. Sorry, but I kinda burned one side of the bacon and left the other side raw, and the biscuits are a little too done on the top and bottom and sticky in the middle. And do try my speciality, the breaded and deep-fat-fried sugar-sprinkled lard sticks with chocolate sauce.

Now doesn't that help your hangover????

No, I wrote inufferable because Raparee's egoism IS inufferable, meaning something that simply cannot be uffered. And don't think I haven't tried!! I have no small talent myself in that department, and when I couldn't uffer his egotism I brought in some of the best ufferers in the West. Then a Senior Sister Ufferer from Massachusetts. Then a pagan Ufferer from Wales and two from Belgium. Even a rare witch Ufferer from West Moorea chimed in via e-mail. It was inufferable. The consensus of all the best experts agree.

Rapparree borrowed an essay on marijuana from Wikipedia and stuck his name in a global search and replace before reposting it. That's what it means. What it means about him that he would spend the seconds of his life in such a supercilious form of self-aggrandizement I leave as an exercise for the student to figure out.

Here's an alternative sample from the same source:

Despite what many might think, Rapparee's inufferable egotism is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. Rapparee's inufferable egotism has been around for several centuries and has a very important meaning in the lives of many. It would be safe to assume that Rapparee's inufferable egotism is going to be around for a long time and have an enormous impact on the lives of many people.test for introduce3

Social & Cultural Factors

Rapparee's inufferable egotism has a large role in American Culture. Many people can often be seen taking part in activities associated with Rapparee's inufferable egotism. This is partly because people of most ages can be involved and families are brought together by this. Generally a person who displays their dislike for Rapparee's inufferable egotism may be considered an outcast.

Economic Factors

It is not common practice to associate economics with Rapparee's inufferable egotism. Generally, Rapparee's inufferable egotism would be thought to have no effect on our economic situation, but there are in fact some effects. The sales industry associated with Rapparee's inufferable egotism is actually a 2.3 billion dollar a year industry and growing each year. The industry employs nearly 150,000 people in the United States alone. It would be safe to say that Rapparee's inufferable egotism play an important role in American economics and shouldn't be taken for granted.

Environmental Factors

After a three month long research project, I've been able to conclude that Rapparee's inufferable egotism doesn't negatively effect the environment at all. A Rapparee's inufferable egotism did not seem to result in waste products and couldn't be found in forests, jungles, rivers, lakes, oceans, etc... In fact, Rapparee's inufferable egotism produced some positive effects on our sweet little nature.

Political Factors

Oh does Rapparee's inufferable egotism ever influence politics. Last year 5 candidates running for some sort of position used Rapparee's inufferable egotism as the primary topic of their campaign. A person might think Rapparee's inufferable egotism would be a bad topic to lead a campaign with, but in fact with the social and environmental impact is has, this topic was able to gain a great number of followers. These 5 candidates went 4 for 5 on winning their positions.

Conclusion

Rapparee's inufferable egotism seem to be a much more important idea that most give credit for. Next time you see or think of Rapparee's inufferable egotism, think about what you just read and realize what is really going on. It is likely you under valued Rapparee's inufferable egotism before, but will now start to give the credited needed and deserved.

Tsk, tsk.

Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) is a procedure that removes excess tissue in the throat to make the airway wider. This sometimes can allow air to move through the throat more easily when you breathe, reducing the severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The tissues that are removed may include:

The soft fingerlike tissue that hangs down from the back of the roof of the mouth into the throat (uvula).
Part of the roof of the mouth (soft palate).
Excess throat tissue, tonsils, and adenoids.

Uvula, of course. I remember when my daughter, who was about six, asked our pediatrician's nurse what that thing in the back of your throat is called. She smiled and told her it's called a uvula. (They'll be giving her uvula a little breathing room next week when she has her tonsils out at age 23. I wish said pediatrician had done it when she was six.)
