BWL... you never cease to entertain and to make me laugh! Thanks.

On a more serious note, tomorrow at 17:10 Germany time, the world will celebrate the birth of a beautiful baby boy born in Zweibrücken to William Kenneth Owens and Marie Dora Corinne LeBlanc of Moncton, NB.ca. Yes, 17:10. Mum had to wait for Dad to get off work and get to the hospital... RCAF!

62! Hard to believe.

I have been smoking since I was 16. I have been drinking since I was 23. I ripped my knees apart playing sports. I ripped my hands apart boxing. I ripped my back apart working construction. I have been in auto, snowmobile, and ATV accidents. On one three week trip working on airstrips in Labrador, I nearly lost my life half a dozen times... boats, float planes, a forest fire. Minds me, and I don't count this as a life threatening incident, they say Orcas don’t eat people but I pissed myself when I swam to shore with five cod and four Arctic Char on my back (long story but I had some GREAT fishing in Labrador many times). Closer to home, in the fly infested bog country of Kent County, NB.ca, I had black bears stalk me several times... once, while fishing, I had to back into a beaver dam, pretend the water was deep by slowly getting on my knees when backing up, and dare one to come into the water and ‘play’ with me, my knife drawn. I’ve hand fed moose. I’ve petted moose. I’ve danced around a tree with moose when they were pissed off (hint : moose have four legs and I have two). AND, that’s the tip of the iceberg.

62! Hard to believe. 62... whod’a thunk it!?

From the backwoods... fuck, fight, and hold the light. >;-)

Mom says that drink is pretty good, but it needs a few soap flakes mixed in to give it that essence of bathtub she's so fond of.

Need a drink, Mom? Here's a genuine old-fashioned drink I just made for you from Log Cabin No. 1 whiskey, molasses, a plug of tobacco for color, some cayenne pepper for zing, and a pinch of grain alcohol for that punch-in-the-stomach aftertaste you like.

Ah, BWL, I had to read that one twice.
My brain must be frozen from the extreme cold.

Hi, Mom!

I bought a pair of memory foam inserts for my shoes. They don't work. I was wearing them when I went shopping yesterday and still forgot to buy coffee filters.

A wonderful bird is the pelican;
His beak can hold more than his belican.
He can hold in his beak
Enough food for a week,
Though I’m damned if I know how the helican!

There is such a word as "choate", but it is not the source of "inchoate". In other words, "inchoate" doesn't mean "not choate". "Choate" was created by some lawyer type by the linguistic process known as back-formation. It's only used in the legal profession to mean "complete", as in a satisfied lien.

"Inchoate" would be more at home, it seems to me,
in H. P. Lovecraft's fiction with its horrors and paranoias,
and its sense of something too large to fight with,
controlling things from the shadows.

D. H. Lawrence, I haven't read everything of his.
Whatever had "inchoate" in it, I didn't read,
because I would recall if I had.
Now, the notorious LCL I read cover to cover,
and if anything in THERE was inchoate, I don't recall it.

Ha! Ha! That's great! :) H.P.Lovecraft was very fond of the word "inchoate" too, and used it often in many of his stories, perhaps all of them. It means "just begun and so not fully formed or developed; rudimentary". Sort of like Shane's intellect and his grasp of morality and ethics.

Inchoate - a word that D.H. Lawrence liked and used too often in one of his novels I was reading but finally gave up on. The Rainbow? Women In Love? I think he primarily used it as "inchoate eyes." It annoyed me so much I remember it all of these years later.

Yes, to boldly post what no fool has posted before is the MOAB's goal. And to blatantly split a few infinitives along the way. Though most grammarians nowadays don't have any problem with split infinitives. But they still abhor sentence fragments. Which I have now created several of. To say nothing of ending a sentence (fragment) with a preposition.

Perspective I understand. It is a form of relativity I can see.
As for super symmetry what I see is "as entropy grows symmetry shrinks".
Although I recognize some of Rap's post most of it is too small, too quantum and unintuitive for me to grasp. But that is its 'charm'

I should have said the total energy output of the big bang is zero like the dirt taken out of a hole =equals= the space/volume inside the hole.
Energy itself has gravitational pull so dark matter need not only be a form of matter at all.

This kind of writting I hope is easily understood. Of course quantum mechcanics is not intuitive in the slightest.
I assume a Gluon is composed of excited spilkies, one up and one down

Now its time for sstrawberry rhubarb pie. :^/

Gluon doesn't get excited by humans spouting off about physics and cosmology.

Imagine that a fish wrote a paper showing that it's theoretically possible to breathe air instead of water. Well, after overcoming the initial shock of a fish knowing how to write, a typical human reaction would be, "No shit, Mr. Fish! I breathe air all the time! So do billions of other creatures! We don't even have to think about it!"

Well, that's analogous to how Gluon views our piddly human attempts to understand the very large and very small. Gluon directly experiences parts of the multiverse humans struggle to achieve the most basic understanding of. "Oh, you humans spent billions of dollars to detect a few gravity waves. Congratulations! I just surfed a gravity wave all the way from the Large Magellanic Cloud to Rap's backyard. It was, to borrow a phrase from Sean Penn's character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, a tasty wave indeed."
