Subject: Songs for Memorial Day From: GUEST,The Celtic Bard Date: 09 May 03 - 10:57 AM I am a member of a Renaissance reenactment group. On Memorial Day my group and all other groups doing the Corona Renaissance Festival have a special ceremony and a battle reenactment. Part of both of these events is having the women sing. In the past we have been at loss for songs. Most songs are either inappropriate or they are too modern for us to use. We usually sing "Doma Nobes" and "Rose Red" but we are looking to expand our repitoire. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. Rebecca |
