Come gather all ye minstrels,
And listen to my tale.
How to amass wealth boundless,
I care not if ye wail!

Chorus:
First gather ye some pigeons,
Ten thousand, maybe more.
And when they doth return to thee,
Then tally up the score.


Then send thee out thy pigeons,
All out across the land.
And when they doth return to thee,
Then reach out thy hand.

Chorus:

And to each pigeon's leg,
Attach the following note.
That every soul who doth read this,
Shall copy what thou wrote.

Chorus:

A hundred pigeons thou must send,
To the writer of this note.
A hundred copies thou must do,
Exactly as it's wrote.

Then remove the senders name,

Isn't "doth" the 3rd person singular? I think "every soul who doth read this" is right, but "they doth return" should be "they do return." In the last verse, it could be "Not every pigeon...hath wings," or "Not all...have," but I doubt you could ever properly say "all pigeons hath wings." If I'm wrong about this point of grammar, please correct me, and I'll apologise.

Quibbles aside, I enjoy it!

Well, Semi-Submersible quibbled, and not to be outdone, so will I.

I'm sorry to spoil your rhyme, but in these lines:
For I will dine on pigeon pie,
And if thou be smart, so will thee.

That last phrase, grammatically, would be "so wilt thou". Hard on the rhyme, I know.

You might do that last line as:
"And you can dine as well as I."
