If you are offended by threads asking for good thoughts/healing whatever, please don't tell me why, just don't read any further.

Many of you know Pixie of Doom is my daughter.Some of you know that for the last couple of months she has had a tumour on the base of her spine. She finally got to see a specialist yesterday and the long and the short of it is, it's being removed on the 30th of this month. They will biopsy on removal.Anyone who knows anything about the NHS knows that from yesterday to the 30th is a very quick turn around indeed. It means they are worried, or at least unsure....and so am I.

Any good thoughts you can spare will be much appreciated. I have seen the good the Mudcat Free-Fall Karmic Favour Club can do and very much need to call on it right now....I do believe in Mudcat,I do believe in Mudcat,I do believe in Mudcat.

I and my friends here in Hull have been on the wrong end of the "statistics" with one of our friends in recent months. I sat outside last night until the candles for the Pixie and Rick burned down. Also burned a citronella coil but I am still all bitten up. 23 days is a long time to wait. Keep yourself healthy Morty. Maybe I will add a third candle.

Morticia--here is one of my favorite visualization & healing prayers/affirmations. Visualize in your mind's eye while strongly saying the affirmation out loud. Putting strong emotion into your words makes this prayer/affirmation of faith more powerful. The more you state an affirmation of faith out loud, the more you believe it is true! Thus it works better. You might type it up & print it. I keep colored paper (pink, yellow, lavender or whatever appeals to me at the time) to use for printing just such prayers & affirmations. If Pixie is open to the idea, give her a copy to use. I have inserted Pixie's name to denote how one would use the prayer/affirmation for others.
note: This is one of many prayers & affirmations which I have written, all of which are under my copyright, and Morticia, you may use this prayer/affirmation to use to for your private purposes to pray for yourself & others, & you may give a copy to your daughter. It is also a good idea to remember that our words are things, & have great power--take care how you say things such as "I am. . ." "I can't" & such things as they can & do influence our subconscious thoughts. We also must take care to select the type of music we listen to, the TV programs we watch, an so on, as these things can cause our thoughts to be in the negative. Now is the time to listen to beautiful music, for example, harp music as well as many classical works are very good to promote healing! Where we go & what we do is important, too. Choosing to go to a park instead of a violent or bad movie can aid healing. I have quite alot of experience in helping others achieve healing. The people who actively seek to rid themselves of negative statements, thoughts, places, activities, and sometimes people, and seek out positive & happy statements, thoughts, places, activities, people, etc. are the ones who achieve the best & highest level of healing of mind, body & soul! Try it--it works!

When I had concer, I did a lot of visualisation. Basically thinking positive healing thoughts.
I worked WITH the surgery, the radiation and the chemotherapy by visualising how each of these steps were destroying the cancerous cells and replacing with healthy cells.

That was 30 years ago!

I'll be sure to do some positive thinking on your behalf, Pixie.
