Ian Cruikshank the gypsy style jazz guitarist is billed to play Bracknell shopping centre on Saturday july 12th as part of the "Streetlife" season. The band is on between 12 - 4.00pm.
Ian's band is well worth checking out. He is an authority on Django, has written many tutors, video's etc on the subject and is a really nice guy.
Please if you live within commuting distance take the time to see a great guitarist in action.

A bit too far away for me unfortunately, but I did have the pleasure of seeing Mr.Cruickshank in Newcastle some years ago.
He is indeed quite an authority on the gypsy-jazz style and, following a conversation after his gig, he invited me to join a workshop he was holding the next day.
I learned a great deal in a very short time and I'm looking forward to his next visit North.

c- flat Ian does a guitar weekend. Check out www.guitarweekend.co.uk. It is near the lake district from what i remember.
